HaYekev
About This Spot
HaYekev in Netanya unfolds like a welcoming hideaway perched where the sea breeze mingles effortlessly with the hum of everyday life. Arriving here, you’re gently drawn into a space that balances relaxed seaside charm with the buzz of a gathering spot cherished by locals and visitors alike. The rhythm feels unhurried yet alive—an invitation to linger on the sunny deck, where the shimmering Mediterranean stretches beyond, framing moments both quiet and convivial.
There’s an understated warmth in how the place embraces you, especially if you choose a seat outside. The atmosphere is casual but thoughtful, shaped by the attentive care of a team who knows how to blend friendly attentiveness with a respectful ease. It’s a neighborhood corner where the pace slows just enough for genuine connection—to the company you come with, the view that settles around you, and the flavors that bring subtle surprise to the table.
The menu at HaYekev feels like a conversation across the Mediterranean, sharing familiar comforts alongside occasional playful turns. Here, fresh fish meets Italian pasta in a harmony that speaks to long days by the coast, while café drinks carry a thoughtful simplicity against the backdrop of salt and sun. Whether starting your day with a classic Israeli breakfast or settling into an evening with a thoughtfully prepared fish dish, the experience feels simultaneously grounded and a quiet celebration of place.
Gatherings here often linger—a birthday, a casual catch-up, or simply an afternoon pause—each enhanced by the open-air vantage point and the soft murmur of the sea. It’s a setting that rewards those who come ready to notice the small, joyful moments: the way light catches on glassware, the smiles exchanged between friends and staff, the unspoken comfort of a place that feels just a bit like home away from home.

Absolutely lovely place, if you sit outside. (I’m told the interior is less idea, but have never been — the deck outside is not to be missed.) The food is somehow even better than the view; the Israeli Breakfast in particular was wonderful, and the Shakshuka was quite literally the best I’ve ever had. Coffee, smoothies, and juices were all first-rate. Service was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Group of 7 left very well fed and very happy.

This restaurant is fantastic. One of the best in Netanya. The best time to go is during lunch or dinner (not a fan of their breakfast, nothing special) the fish platter is incredible and the chestnut pasta is great. Coffee is good and the view of the sea is even better.

A bit crowded place. But besides that it’s nice and cool. We’ve celebrate birthday as a couple, the wine was ok, the fish dish was amazing and the pasta was good. I Will come back

Had a great experience at Hayekev Netanya — beautiful sea view and super tasty food. Food came out in 10 minutes for 10 people . Polina and Itai were super attentive and friendly, making the meal even better. Highly recommend asking for their section when you go!

Great service and a wonderful atmosphere! Yosef was an excellent waiter—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. This is definitely a place I’d recommend for birthdays, celebrations, or just a nice night out.

My husband ordered fish and chips that were delicious. I ordered their Haloumi cheese salad with a glass of wine - both were also delicious. The portions were generous, and neither of us could finish our meal. The delightful atmosphere of the restaurant was marred by two issues- a cart of restaurant supplies passed by our table several times and there was a fly near our table. I hope to dine there again and will not sit in a work-traffic area
